As a young boy he attended varied musical performances with his parents, from symphony concerts and broadway musicals to rock shows. At home his father and older brothers listened to classical, swing, pop, rock, and folk. All of these elements combined in a child's mind to create an incredibly broad musical palate. When you listen to Mike's songs, you will hear the varied musical influences of his childhood blended into a highly diverse catalog. Each song draws from one or more genres creating a tantalizing potpourri of song styles.
